This private hospital continues to grow to provide the best health services for the country's people. Some of them, RSU Bunda Padang, are realized through complete and integrated health facilities, ranging from Morula IVF, laboratories, ICU, inpatient rooms, ER, and so on. With these facilities, it is hoped that the patients of RSU Bunda Padang can undergo complete, smooth, and comfortable medical treatment.

BMC Padang Becomes RSU Bunda Padang

Before becoming RSU Bunda Padang, BMC Padang had been established since 1967 by prioritizing delivery services. In that era, not many hospitals offered focused health services for mothers and children.

At first, the health service was the idea of the midwife Hj. Nurhima D. Muzbar. This health facility eventually developed under the auspices of the Bunda Hospital Group, becoming a general hospital that has a full range of specialist services.

In 2021, BMC Padang changed its name to RSU Bunda Padang. The name change was followed by the development and addition of medical and non-medical services to hospital facilities and infrastructure by BMHS standards.

Currently, there are many facilities and equipment offered for maternal and child patients and general patients. The following are some of the superior services that have been successfully provided and are continuously being improved:

1. Medical Check-Up

Medical Check-Up is a term that is often used for a series of professional health checks in hospitals and other medical units. By doing regular medical check-ups at BMC Padang, you can monitor your body's condition even before the disease occurs.

Medical Check-Up is carried out professionally with the support of expert doctors and the best laboratory and radiology equipment. The examination results will be submitted to the patient approximately one week after the implementation.

2. HSG

HSG (hysterosalpingography) is also known as uterosalpingography examination. HSG is an X-ray examination with contrast fluid inserted into the uterine cavity and fallopian tubes as an indicator for the detection of the HSG machine.

HSG is done to know the condition of the fallopian tubes and whether there are certain disorders such as blockages or other abnormalities. The HSG examination can also detect severe abnormalities, such as benign tumors, uterine polyps and so on.

HSG can be carried out after menstruation, before ovulation, on the 9th to 10th day of the menstrual cycle. Generally, this procedure takes 30 minutes so you can continue your normal activities as usual after the examination.

The NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) is an intensive care room for infants up to 28 days of age to receive certain medications and treatments with intensive supervision by professional medical personnel. The purpose of this facility is as a particular room to monitor and maintain vital organ functions so that problems do not occur.

In addition to a variety of excellent services, RSU Bunda Padang also offers a variety of facilities. Such as inpatient rooms, one day care, morula IVF, laboratories, pharmacy installations, radiology, ER, operating rooms, nursery, 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasound, as well as physiotherapy.

The Development of RSU Bunda Padang

One of the flagship facilities of BMC Padang, Morula IVF Padang, is a form of dedication and service from BMHS and Bunda Hospital Group to Indonesian mothers and children. As a fertility clinic, Morula IVF Padang continues to develop services and educate the public about fertility.

One form of education from Morula is holding a Fertility Talk to discuss infertility and the role of IVF/Assisted Reproductive Technology (TRB). This discussion activity provides education about infertility issues.

Infertility itself is a common problem experienced by Indonesian couples. Many things may cause infertility, such as lifestyle, irregular menstruation, and infection. BMC Padang is aware of this issue and offers IVF technology (In Virto Fertilization (IVF)) to assist couples in conceiving offspring. This technology has proven to be more effective in helping the pregnancy program compared to drugs and insemination.

IVF is the Assisted Reproductive Technique (TRB) or reproductive engineering technique that brings together a mature egg cell with sperm outside the human body. After experiencing fertilization, the embryo is inserted into the uterus.

The IVF Morula IVF clinic has developed in various parts of Indonesia and has international certification and accreditation to ensure the quality of its services and success so that IVF clinics are capable overseas. There are many reasons why many married couples choose to run the program abroad; now, Morula IVF can accommodate it in Indonesia, of course, at a more affordable cost.

The stigma of Indonesian medicine, which is inferior to foreign treatment, is not entirely true, but the people still believe this. Therefore, Bundamedik Healthcare System (BMHS) through RSU Bunda Padang and Morula IVF provides quality IVF programs for the country's people.
